Emile Monette is the Senior Advisor for Resilience and Cybersecurity in GSA’s Office of Mission Assurance. He provides executive leadership for SCRM and cyber and physical security functions at GSA. He leads the Joint Working Group on Improving Cybersecurity and Resilience through Acquisition, and is GSA’s primary liaison to the stakeholder community on implementation of Executive Order 13636 and Presidential Policy Directive 21. His previous experience includes operational and policy-making roles, including positions with the Executive Office of the President and the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. He served as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Air Force, is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, and is a graduate of the George Washington University Law School.
